Nirmita Technologies LLC respects your privacy. This policy explains the information BizLedger Pro may handle, why it is needed, and the choices available to you.

Information handled by BizLedger Pro

• Account and sign-in information
• Business, receipt, and cloud-sync records
• Precise location, including background location, when mileage tracking is active
• Purchase, notification, backup, diagnostic, and AI-feature information

The exact information depends on the features you choose to use and the permissions you grant on your device.

Accounts and authentication

BizLedger Pro may collect your name, email address, Firebase user identifier, authentication provider, and basic account status when you create or use an account. Email-and-password sign-in and Sign in with Apple or Google are handled through Firebase Authentication and the selected sign-in provider. Apple may provide a private relay address instead of your personal email. We do not receive your Apple or Google password.

Business records and cloud sync

Information you enter may include business profiles, income, expenses, categories, recurring transactions, mileage and trip records, tax and mileage settings, notes, receipt images, extracted receipt details, and related timestamps. Records are stored on your device. When you sign in and use cloud backup or synchronization, eligible records are also transmitted to and stored in Firebase so they can be backed up and synchronized across your devices.

Precise and background location for mileage tracking

When you choose to start automatic mileage tracking and grant location permission, BizLedger Pro accesses your device's precise location to calculate the route, distance, duration, and mileage of a business trip. Location data may include GPS coordinates, timestamps, speed or movement information, and derived trip distance.

BizLedger Pro may access precise location in the background while an automatic trip is actively being tracked, including when the app is minimized, the screen is off, or you are using another app. Background location is used only to continue the mileage-tracking feature you started and to create the resulting trip record. BizLedger Pro does not use location for advertising, does not sell location data, and does not use location to track you when mileage tracking is not active. You can stop a trip in the app or deny or revoke location permission in device settings; doing so disables or limits automatic mileage tracking. Manual mileage entry remains available without background location.

Receipt scanning and OCR

If you scan or attach a receipt, BizLedger Pro may access the camera, photo library, or files you select. Optical character recognition (OCR) analyzes the receipt image to identify text such as merchant, date, amount, and category suggestions. OCR results may be incomplete or inaccurate and should be reviewed before saving. Receipt images and extracted data may be stored locally and, when cloud sync or backup is used, in Firebase with your other account records.

AI-assisted features

When you choose an AI-assisted feature, the prompt and the limited business, transaction, receipt, or reporting information needed to answer your request may be sent through our cloud services to an AI service provider. This information is used to generate suggestions, classifications, summaries, or insights for you. Do not submit information that is unnecessary or highly sensitive. AI output may be inaccurate and is not tax, accounting, legal, or financial advice.

Notifications

With your permission, BizLedger Pro may schedule local reminders for mileage, expenses, or quarterly taxes and may use a device notification token for account or service notifications. You can change notification choices in the app or device settings.

Backups, exports, and imports

You may export, copy, share, or import backup files and reports. Files you export are controlled by you and by the apps, storage locations, or people you choose to share them with. Imported data is processed to restore eligible BizLedger Pro records. Protect exported files because they may contain sensitive business information.

Pro preview and purchases

BizLedger Pro may associate a seven-day Pro preview and Pro entitlement status with your Firebase account to prevent repeated previews and recognize access across devices. Monthly, yearly, and lifetime purchases are processed by Apple App Store or Google Play. We may receive and store product identifiers, transaction or purchase tokens, validation results, entitlement type, status, and expiration or revocation information. We do not receive your full payment-card number. Store purchases are also governed by the applicable store's terms and privacy policy.

Account and data deletion

Delete your BizLedger Pro account and associated data. This page explains the in-app steps, email requests without app access, and limited retention exceptions.

You can request or initiate account deletion through the app where available or by emailing us from the address connected to your account. Deleting an account removes or de-identifies eligible account information and cloud-synced content from active systems, subject to limited retention required for security, fraud prevention, legal compliance, purchase records, disputes, and backup integrity. Deleting your BizLedger Pro account does not cancel an App Store or Google Play subscription; subscriptions must be managed through the applicable store. Local records or exported backups remaining on your devices must be deleted by you.

Diagnostics and device information

We and our service providers may process limited technical information such as app version, device and operating-system type, crash or error details, network status, timestamps, and security events to operate, troubleshoot, protect, and improve BizLedger Pro.

Service providers and disclosure

We use service providers such as Google Firebase for authentication, cloud storage, synchronization, server functions, notifications, and related infrastructure; Apple and Google for sign-in and store purchases; device-platform services for permissions and notifications; and AI providers when you request AI-assisted features. These providers process information only as needed to deliver their services and under their own terms and privacy policies. We may also disclose information when required by law, to protect rights or safety, to investigate abuse or fraud, or in connection with a business transfer. We do not sell personal information, business records, receipt data, or location data, and we do not use them for targeted advertising.

Your choices

You can use manual mileage entry without background location, decline or revoke camera, photo, precise-location, background-location, or notification permission, turn off reminders, avoid optional AI features, manage cloud features by signing out, export eligible information, and request account deletion. Some features will not work without the information or permission they require.

How information is used

Information is used to provide requested features, maintain your records, operate and secure the product, prevent abuse, respond to support requests, and improve reliability. We do not sell your personal information.

Service providers

Where a feature requires cloud hosting, authentication, email or phone verification, payments, or crash reporting, carefully selected providers may process limited information on our behalf. Their use is limited to delivering those services and is governed by their own policies and our agreements with them.

Retention and security

Information is kept only as long as reasonably necessary to provide the service, meet legal obligations, resolve disputes, and protect the product. We use reasonable safeguards, but no digital service can guarantee absolute security.

Your choices

You may decline optional device permissions, change notification settings, request access or deletion where applicable, or stop using the product. Some core features may not work without information they require.

Children

BizLedger Pro is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. Contact us if you believe a child has provided personal information.

Changes

We may update this policy as the product changes. The effective date above identifies the current version.
